Hi,
I have larger wheels and lower profile tyres, and I think they have less grip at lower speeds ?
For example turning tight on a mini roundabout in the wet, the car will just push out, and if then input more angle quickly it looses grip faster.
Or even on a larger round about especially in the wet will power under steer sooner.
My only thinking is that a lower profile tyre cannot sort of "load up" like a normal tyre in those conditions, then as the mass of the car rolls, will be a smaller grip patch as force is being pinched to the outer edge, without the tyre deflecting and spreading the load.
Maybe I am wrong or mad, but any thoughts please
Thanks
